Over the many years that we have been supporting World AIDS Day, many of you have joined our campaign by purchasing a red ribbonfor your Recon profile.
On the 2nd November 2011, we are launching our 2011 Campaign. Our goal is to try to exceed last year’s grand total of £22,646.07 ($36,170, €25,973 approx) that Recon members raised for worldwide AIDS charities.
World AIDS Day is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV and AIDS. Around thirty million people are living with HIV throughout the world - and that number increases every day.
Together we can stop the spread of HIV and end prejudice.
YOU can help us support the fight against HIV/AIDS by purchasing a virtual red ribbon for your Recon profile. This will be displayed on your Recon profile until December 31st 2011.
Recon is supporting World AIDS Day by:
Donating an additional £1 for each of the first 2,500 Members who buy a virtual red ribbon.
All profits from your donation will be distributed to the five nominated charities.
