The Saint At Large, gaydom’s preeminent party, announces this year’s RITES XXXIV: THE BLACK PARTY theme: “Rough Trade at Luna Park.”

Now in its 32nd year, The Black Party draws more than 5,000 attendees and remains one of the largest gay dance parties in the world.

Held on the weekend closest to the vernal equinox at the legendary Roseland Ballroom, the Black Party has firmly established itself as “the world’s sexiest party” and Gay New York’s biggest night of the year.

This year’s theme is set on the outskirts of Rome in an abandoned amusement park. LUNA PARK comes to life for one-night only as a band of Moto-Gladiators convenes for their annual bacchanalia.

Complete with Strange Live Acts, and a cinematically-inspired immersive environment set to a progressive underground sound, it consistently taps the zeitgeist for its loyal audience. Its themes, played out as a 5-act opera, appeal to a fashion forward fetish clan eager to reveal their darkest fantasies at this one-night only, no holds barred, bacchanalia.
